Who we are
We are a travel office in Israel. We book flights, hotels, car rentals and apartments for our clients, and we are hiring a remote ticketing agent in the Philippines to own the ticketing side. The work week follows our office: Sunday to Thursday, about 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Philippine time. You work Sundays. Your weekend is Friday and Saturday.
What you will do
- Build reservations (PNRs) in Amadeus and issue tickets
- Reissue and exchange tickets when plans change
- Work the queues every day: catch schedule changes on ticketed bookings and fix them before the client notices
- Check award availability and book points tickets for clients flying on miles
- Keep each file documented so anyone in the office can see exactly where a booking stands
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid hands-on Amadeus experience: you have personally made reservations, issued tickets and reissued tickets
- You know how to check a ticket for changes and what to do when you find one
- Extremely organized. Ticketing mistakes cost real money.
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- A reliable computer, fast internet, and a quiet place to work, with backup internet and backup power. Ticketing cannot wait out a brownout.
- Two references from previous travel industry work
A PLUS
- You know how to check and book points tickets (award tickets on miles). This is rare. If you can do it, say so at the top of your application.
- Experience with fare rules, exchanges with penalties, and airline debit memos
- A second GDS (Sabre or Galileo)
- Airline or travel agency BPO background
