A messy day. Cards, two Amadeus worlds, Amex points, collections. You talk while you work.
If you skip this, you are not reviewed. A typed essay, a ChatGPT table, or a sheet you finished before you hit record all fail. We watch the mouse.
1. Download the file
Download bookkeeper-desk.csv
Open it in Excel or Google Sheets. Do not clean it before you record.
2. Record 8 to 12 minutes · TODAY
- Screen + your voice. English. Clock or date visible so we know it is today.
- Start working in the first 60 seconds. If you sit silent, we stop watching.
- Build an Open items tab while we watch: file, what is missing, dollars at risk, who you chase, by when.
- Say out loud what you are doing. We are hiring the person who narrates the desk, not the person who pastes a finished answer.
3. You must hit these
- Every Amex points ticket: seller paid? ticket issued? 35% rebate posted? If a rebate is late, it stays open.
- American Amadeus vs Israeli commission report — they are not the same system. Issued in one and missing in the other is a chase.
- Card charges with no guest file.
- Guests who still owe. Send-the-balance energy, even if you only write the email subject out loud.
- A cost that is wrong, and a cheaper vendor if one is sitting in the file.
- At least one file you are willing to close. If you flag everything, you have not read it.
FAILS
- "The rebate will show up"
- A finished Google Sheet with no typing on camera
- You never open the CSV
- You use last week's recording
- You close a file sales already closed without checking Amadeus / the statement
